Compliance Deadlines for the Payment and Electronic Money Institutions with the New Payment Legislation Have Been Extended

On 25 November 2022, a regulation and a communiqué amending the Regulation on Payment Services and Electronic Money Issuance and Payment Service Providers (“Regulation”) and the Communiqué on Information Systems of Payment and Electronic Money Institutions and Data Sharing Services of Payment Service Providers in the Field of Payment Services (“Communiqué”), which were prepared by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (“CBRT”) and published in the Official Gazette dated December 1, 2021 and numbered 31676, were published in the Official Gazette dated 25 November 2022 and numbered 32024.
