US Sanctions Against Turkey’s Presidency of Defense Industries
On 14 December 2020, the United States imposed sanctions against Turkey’s Presidency of Defense Industries pursuant to Section 231 of the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA). These sanctions were issued in response to Turkey acquiring an S-400 missile system from the Russian Federation.
