The Rules and Procedures for Online Hearings in Arbitral Proceedings Have Been Published by ISTAC
In order to protect citizens from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak that is affecting the entire world and has been qualified as a pandemic by the World Health Organization, both the Turkish government and independent institutions and organizations continue to take measures throughout the country.
In this context, the Istanbul Arbitration Center (ISTAC) has published its “Online Hearing Rules and Procedures”, enabling participants to conduct hearings through teleconference or video conference without physical attendance in order to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
