In 2017, the amendments made to the Capital Markets Code No. 6362 formed the statutory basis for crowdfunding, which is an important method of funding for entrepreneurs and start-up companies. With the Communiqué’s entry into effect, the procedures and principles of equity based crowdfunding have finally been revealed.
