The Ministry of Commerce of the Republic of Turkey has taken measures with respect to general assembly meetings in an effort to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic
As per the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102 (“TCC”), joint stock and limited liability companies must hold ordinary general assembly meetings within three months of the end of the company’s fiscal year. As companies commonly prefer to align their fiscal years with the calendar year, ordinary general assembly meetings usually convene by the end of March.
