Communique No: 2022-32/66 Amending Communique No: 2008-32/34 Regarding Decree No. 32 About the Protection of Turkish Currency Has Been Issued

Communiqué No: 2022-32/66 Amending Communiqué No: 2008-32/34 regarding Decree No: 32 on the Protection of the Value of Turkish Currency (“Communiqué”) was published in the Official Gazette dated April 19, 2022 and numbered 31814. Communiqué No:2022-32/66 made changes  to paragraphs 9 and 15 of Article 8 of the Communiqué, with an aim to prioritize the use of the Turkish Lira. These changes have entered into force as of April 19, 2022.
